How do I book a vehicle?
Open our booking platform, choose a vehicle, dates and location, review extras and protection, complete verification and review payment. A reservation is confirmed after Rental Point review and approval.
Which documents are required?
A valid physical driver’s license and the identity, address and insurance documents requested during booking. Each authorized driver must meet the applicable requirements.
Is insurance included?
Do not assume insurance is included in the displayed rental price. If using personal insurance, confirm that applicable liability, collision and comprehensive coverage extends to the rental vehicle for the full rental. Review any separately available protection option and its terms.
Security deposit
The standard security deposit is $350 when paying by credit card or $1,000 when paying by debit card. Approved vehicle-category-specific deposit requirements take precedence over these standard amounts. Review the deposit for your selected vehicle in the booking summary and applicable rental terms before accepting them. The security deposit is separate from the rental price.
Pickup inspection precedes the deposit action and handoff; return inspection and applicable adjustments precede final deposit settlement.
Can someone else pay for my rental?
Payment with a credit or debit card belonging to a third party is permitted only with prior written authorization from the cardholder, provided by email or SMS.
Should I email photos of my payment card?
No. Use the secure payment form. Never send full card numbers, security codes, passwords or photographs of payment cards by email or chat.
Where can I pick up a vehicle?
Available options in the booking platform include Chalet Motel Mequon, MKE Airport pickup/delivery, Baymont by Wyndham Mequon and customer-address delivery. Confirm your selected location, time and any charges during booking.
Can I extend or change my rental?
Submit a request through your booking record or customer service. Availability and approval are required. Review and accept any revised itemized price or amendment; a request by itself does not extend the rental.
Can I cancel or return early?
Contact Rental Point promptly. Refunds and applicable charges follow the terms accepted for your specific reservation. Review our cancellation page and your rental agreement.
May I use the vehicle for delivery or rideshare?
Commercial use, including rideshare and delivery, is prohibited under the rental agreement. Only authorized drivers may operate the vehicle.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Rental Point vehicles are non-smoking. The current rental agreement lists a $350 smoking fee.
How do I access an existing booking?
Open the booking platform menu and select My booking or Trips. Contact Rental Point if you need help.

Who may drive the vehicle?
Only drivers authorized under your rental agreement may drive. Each driver must complete the required eligibility and document checks before driving the vehicle.
What are the mileage and fuel requirements?
Follow the mileage allowance, permitted travel area and fuel requirements shown in your reservation and rental instructions. Photograph the vehicle, odometer and fuel level as instructed at pickup and return.
What should I do if I will return late?
Contact Rental Point promptly. Return at the confirmed time unless an extension has been approved. Late-return charges follow your accepted rental agreement; the agreement lists a full daily rate or more.
What happens if the vehicle is damaged?
Report damage or an incident promptly and follow the rental agreement and roadside instructions. Applicable damage responsibility, insurance terms and authorized charges are set out in your rental agreement. Document the vehicle condition and retain the information requested for review.
