Minimum Insurance Requirements In Wisconsin

Rental Point does not provide any type of insurance or minimum government-required liability insurance coverages included in the price !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Liability, comprehensive and collision insurance coverages must be purchased by the customer at an additional cost. If the customer has existing car insurance coverage with an extension to rentals, the customer must provide proof to Rental Point.

Should I have insurance coverage, or should I purchase insurance coverage? YES.

Wisconsin generally requires drivers to carry uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance coverage: $25,000 in bodily injury liability insurance per person ($50,000 per accident) and $10,000 in property damage liability coverage per accident.
If you do not have personal car insurance coverage or travel coverage protection, the travel collision coverages can be purchased from the independent insurance providers.

To be able to rent a car from Rental Point, renters must have at least Wisconsin State minimum lability, comprehensive and collision insurance coverage.

If you have no personal car insurance, you may have to purchase "Renter's Contingent Liability Insurance (RCLI) Primary State Minimum Liability Insurance Coverage" for all days of the trip.

If you have liability only, you may have to purchase "Comprehensive and Collision Damage Warranty (CDW) Maximum Limit $35,000 & $500 Deductible" for all days of the trip.
